Getting to and from Eden Park
Eden Park is centrally located and is easily accessible by a number of forms of transport.

Public transport
Kingsland Station is next to Eden Park and Morningside Station is within easy walking distance. Major bus services and routes operate close to the stadium, making public transport a convenient way to travel to and from Eden Park.
You can tap and go with your credit or debit card or smart device on all trains and buses and we encourage patrons to use the train or a bus where possible. Public transport services can vary depending on the event, so please check the latest timetable information before travelling and allow plenty of time to arrive. Parking
If you are planning to drive to attend an event at Eden Park, please remember there is no parking onsite, and the streets surrounding the stadium are reserved for local residents. Parking restrictions are enforced by Auckland Transport so check signage carefully and allow extra time to find a park.
There is street parking within a 10 to 15-minute walk of the stadium. Please be considerate of local residents and ensure your vehicle is parked legally at all times.

FUNCTION PARKING
If you are attending a function at Eden Park, free parking is available on site. Please follow the instructions provided to you by your host.
PERMIT HOLDERS
Contractors are encouraged to use public transport where practical to do so. If you have a parking permit for the relevant event, please ensure this is clearly displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle and follow the access instructions provided. For safety reasons cars may be held in the onsite carparks prior to the end of the event and up to one hour post the event finishing to allow for pedestrians to clear the area.
Mobility parking
Eden Park has a limited number of mobility parking spaces available for guests with disabilities. To help ensure fair access, these spaces are allocated by ballot for each event.
Mobility parking is usually located on Cricket Ave, where event staff will be available to with parking on arrival.
For functions, conferences, and some smaller events, mobility parking spaces are located in the P5 carpark off Reimers Ave.
Cycling & scootering
Cycling and scootering can be a convenient way to travel to and from Eden Park, which is well connected to Auckland’s cycleways which you can find here. The streets can be busy on an event day so please ride carefully, give priority to pedestrians and take extra care around entrances and high-traffic areas.
Bike racks are located around the stadium for patrons who would like to cycle. Bike parking is available adjacent to Entry G Reception off Reimers Avenue, opposite Gate D on Walters Road, and opposite Gate B on Walters Road. We recommend using a secure lock, such as a D-lock or hardened steel chain, and locking your bike through the frame.
E-scooters are not permitted inside Eden Park. Please ensure they are parked thoughtfully outside the venue and do not obstruct footpaths, gates or accessways.
Walking
Eden Park is within easy walking distance of nearby areas, including hospitality areas in Kingsland, Dominion Road, Ponsonby, Midtown and Karangahape Road, You can plan your walking route using the AT Journey Planner.
Coach parking
All coaches must complete the Coach Parking applicationin advance to access designated parking or drop-off areas at Eden Park. This helps our team manage traffic flow, ensure safe access to the stadium and provide the best experience for all visitors on event days.
Event Traffic Management Plans
A Traffic Management Plan will usually be in place, including for smaller events. Surrounding street closures, parking restrictions, and access points will vary depending on the nature and scale of the event. Please check the specific event page for the latest traffic management and parking information for your event.
If you live in the area, information about the Resident Parking Scheme can be found on the AT website. Please note that some streets surrounding the stadium, including those within the resident parking scheme, may be reserved for public transport (such as bus layup areas) and other traffic management purposes. No vehicles can park on the street in these areas. Please check signage carefully. All information about the event specific Traffic Management Plan will be provided in the residents’ newsletter delivered a few days before each event and on the specific event page.
