Auckland Rugby Football Union is looking forward to hosting a celebrity rugby game at Eden Park this Sunday (18 October) to help raise funds for the earthquake and tsunami victims in Samoa.
Former Auckland player Martin Stanley is working alongside former Auckland team-mate and current Blues coach Pat Lam to secure a host of household names to Eden Park for a rugby match like no other.
It's not just rugby players who will take the field, players from other codes including league, soccer and cricket are preparing to tie on some boots - all for the cause.
The celebrity game will kick-off just after 1pm and the Air New Zealand Cup match between Auckland and Counties Manukau will begin at 2.35pm.
To get your tickets, visit the Ticketing Office at Eden Park (Gate 3, ASB Stand), www.ticketmaster.co.nz or call Ticketmaster on 0800 111 999.
