One Day International Cricket at Eden Park

Cricket fans can show their support and get their game tickets early for the Black Caps versus England one day international match at Eden Park on Friday 15 February 2008.

Cricket supporters who pre-purchase their tickets for the match and Eden Park card members* will be able to ride for FREE from all train stations to Kingsland Station.

To ride for free on train services simply show your Eden Park members card or pre-purchased ticket for the ODI match at Eden Park on Friday 15 February 2008. Remember to retain your ticket for the trip home!

  • Free train travel is valid on all lines and applies for travel on Friday 15 February 2008 over the following times:
    • To Eden Park : Between 12.00pm- 3.00 pm
    • From Eden Park: From end of match to end of services on 15 February.
  • Eden Park members include – ASB Club Lounge members and Ground members only.
  • To ride for free on train services you must show your relevant Eden Park membership card or your pre-purchased ticket (receipts and other proofs of purchase will not be accepted) for the Black Caps versus England ODI on 15 February.
  • Match tickets must be retained to show on your return journey.
  • If you do not show your ticket or membership card normal fares apply.

Trains

Additional train services will operate on the Southern / Eastern and Western lines.

Please allow plenty of time for your arrival at Eden Park (Kingsland Station).


Buses

Regular Sandringham Road, New North Road and Dominion Road bus services

The regular scheduled Sandringham Road services (routes 23 and 24) run approximately every 15 minutes from Victoria Street West in the CBD, travelling by Eden Park.

Regular scheduled New North Rd services (routes 21 and 22) run approximately every 15 minutes from Victoria Street West in the CBD, travelling via Kingsland shops. A short walk via Kingsland train station to Eden Park.

For terrace patrons the regular scheduled Dominion Road services (routes 25 and 26) run every 10 minutes from Queen Street, outside the St James.

Bus services are operated by Stagecoach Auckland and normal fares apply.

Eden Park free shuttle bus

This free shuttle service runs before the game from 12:30pm, as well as after each game, with services running approximately every 10 minutes.

The shuttle bus will operate with specially marked buses using existing bus stops in a loop from Eden Park Bus Park, via Reimers Ave, Sandringham Road, Balmoral Road, Mt Eden Road, New North Road, Sandringham Road, Reimers Ave back to Eden Park Bus Park.
