When a game is on at Eden Park, temporary parking restrictions may apply to the Park itself and streets in the immediate area.
These parking requirements (Traffic Management Plans or TMPs) are generally based on the estimated crowd size to attend the event and safe entry into the stadium.
PARKING ON GAME DAY
While there is no parking at Eden Park on a game day, we encourage the use of public transport for games at the Eden Park.
All vehicles parking on site must display the relevant parking permit for the relevant match. The parking permit must be displayed clearly on the dashboard of the vehicle. Entry to onsite parking for all matches is via Walters Road (off Dominion Road). Please note that the onsite parking areas will be closed prior to the end of the fixture for a period of up to one hour to allow the pedestrian traffic to clear.
RESIDENT PARKING PERMITS
Some areas around the stadium, including areas within the parking zone, are reserved for public transport and other traffic management uses. Residents' who are Parking Permit Holders are not able to park in these areas. These areas are marked on the residents' newsletter map which is delivered a few days before each game and will be clearly signposted on the event day.
Remember to select Residential from the drop down box and click Next Step. Then select Eden Park from the next drop down box.
